So sad...

hi everyone, it's me again... as we all know, 2 days ago, we saw Michael Jackson's memorial. Yes, THE Michael Jackson...he has passed away! Even until now, i still feel like it didn't happen...like it was some kind of a dream, bad dream. But it did. I was like, no waaaaaaay! But this is not the reason I write this letter.

Don't you sometimes wonder what's with the world? what's with the presumptions or assumptions that people make? what's with the judgement people throw just because someone's different? Michael Jackson.He was a legend. He'll always be. Before he was famous for his changing-color-from-black-to-white, for his plastic surgery, or his face that almost looked non-human, he was famous for his talents. He went through so much we couldn't possibly imagine. When someone is on the top, one should be able to sacrifice his own feelings for something greater than himself. And THAT is something not everyone could understand. Because of that 'difference', people are often called names or being labelled...Really, simply because he/she does not conform to the world, simply because he/she does what MOST PEOPLE wouldn't, simply because other people do not understand, simply because he/she chooses to do good to a certain extent that not everyone are willing to.

Why is he so nice?? why is he that nice to children? I mean, I'm not! MOST PEOPLE are not! I don't understand! He must be a pedophile!!

Well...come on, not everyone is "MOST PEOPLE", am i right? Some people do more than others, and that does not make them bad, or worse than the rest of the world. Mother Theresa, she chose to do good more than what others didn't do. Sure, we can't compare her with Michael Jackson, but do you see the point that i'm making? It's not JUST about the who or the what, cause there are other factors in life that we should consider, like "the why". 

When he passed away, then people started to think again about all his talents, then people started talking about how good he was, what a legend he was. But before he died, he was becoming infamous for his this and that; his trials, his being-accused-as a pedophile, his plastic surgery, as though people forgot about the good things that made Michael Jackson...Michael Jackson. 

I adore him so much. Despites all of his controversials, he is still THE Michael Jackson. There's a lot that we can learn from him; how he could survive his abused childhood and turned it into something great for him and for the world. As Brooke Shield said, "His sensitivity was even more extraordinary than his talents." Nonetheless, he still managed to be strong and be the Michael Jackson we all know, even until his last moments.    

Let us all remember him as the super talented and successful Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, the icon, yet still a human being...
